Bacres Grain, Managed by Group Solum, Signs Agreement with ADM to Expand Grain Marketing Access in Southwestern Ontario
Group Solum today announced that Bacres Grain, a grain elevator it manages in Alvinston, Ontario, has signed an agreement with ADM (NYSE: ADM) for ADM to purchase and market corn, soybeans, and wheat delivered to the facility. The arrangement takes effect this October.
As farmers ourselves, we understand what it means to have reliable options when it comes time to sell a crop. That's what drove this partnership. Under the agreement, Bacres Grain retains full ownership and operation of the elevator, while ADM brings its processing, logistics, and export network to the table. Growers delivering to Alvinston will have access to a broader set of buyers and markets, both within Ontario and internationally, through a facility they already trust.
